detail clinic FAQ

How many sessions can I take?

You may take as many sessions as you would like to gain valuble skills, knowledge and experience as an automotive detailer.  We typically find that 1 or 2 sessions are necessary for Interior Detailing and 5 to 10 sessions are required for Exterior Detailing to gain enough experience through hands-on completion of the techniques as demonstrated by the Griffis Car Care Center team.

How long does it take to learn how to buff?

Buffing is a skill you can only truly master by doing. We will provide you with opportunities to develop your own finess with the buffing and polishing equipment and cannot explicitly know when you can say that you have learned how to buff. We find that most beginners gain key skills through buffing multiple different vehicle surfaces over the course of several days and even weeks.

Will I be able to buff my vehicle?

Although, our liability clauses do not allow us to buff your vehicle directly, we will however provide you with the tools and materials so that you may learn to buff your vehicle with us physically guiding and assisting your application of the buffing and polishing compounds.
